As a Senior Director, I believe in leadership by example, actively engaging at all levels. I code alongside developers, ensuring hands-on technical involvement. I collaborate with architects to design and document system architectures, maintaining clarity and innovation. I manage alongside managers, overseeing execution while fostering teamwork and efficiency. At the leadership level, I strategize with executives, aligning vision with action. I do not just direct; I actively contribute, staying grounded in every aspect—from development to execution to strategy. My approach ensures that leadership remains connected to the core of innovation, execution, and team success, driving excellence at all levels.
Leadership is not just about guiding a team; it’s about endurance, resilience, and leading by example—qualities that are also essential in long-distance running. Running a 10KM marathon with IIM Bangalore professors and students was more than just a physical challenge; it was a reflection of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
Just like in leadership, where we push boundaries, adapt, and inspire, a marathon requires consistency, mental strength, and commitment. Running alongside brilliant minds from IIM Bangalore reinforced the idea that great leaders stay grounded, embrace challenges, and continuously strive for excellence—both in strategy and in action.
Recently had the opportunity to be a panelist in a thought-provoking discussion on Software-Driven Vehicles (SDV) with industry leaders. The session covered advancements in software, sensors, AI, and cybersecurity—key drivers of SDV innovation.
Special thanks to experts at HARMAN for their guidance in gaining practical insights into this evolving space. As SDVs reshape mobility, collaboration will be crucial in building a smarter, more sustainable transportation future. Excited to be part of this journey!
I am deeply passionate about quantum computing and its transformative potential. Last week, I had the privilege of engaging with brilliant minds from IITB, IITM, MeitY, C-DOT, TCS Research, UTIMACO, Odyssey Tech, and SETS India in a panel discussion organized by SETS INDIA. The discussions revolved around post-quantum cryptography (PQC), infrastructure readiness, and the future of PQC standardization.
It was an inspiring exchange on how Government, Industry, and Academia can collaborate to drive innovation and adoption in quantum computing. I truly enjoyed the insightful conversations and would be happy to connect with like-minded individuals who share the same passion for advancing this field.
Formation – Sprint Team with a Shared Goal
In PI Planning, we define objectives and align efforts—just like in cricket, where openers set the stage, the middle-order builds momentum, and finishers execute the final push. Every role is crucial, just like in a sprint team delivering features.
Facing Challenges – The Daily Stand-ups of the Game
Every over brings a new challenge, just like a sprint day. Losing wickets or facing tough bowlers demands quick adaptation—just as sprint teams tackle technical hurdles, blockers, and dependencies with resilience.
Execution – Delivering Features with Precision
Each run and wicket is like a delivered feature. We build partnerships, manage risks, and celebrate wins—just like teams track progress and resolve technical debt to meet sprint goals.
Retrospective – Learning and Growing
Post-match, we reflect and improve, just like a sprint retrospective. Cricket and Agile both teach perseverance, strategy, and execution, ensuring we grow stronger for the next challenge.
🏏🚀 Every sprint is a match, every feature a hard-earned run, and every PI event a championship waiting to be won!
